The "pointer style" was actually the allusion to the southern Taiwanese tallest building when it was completed in December of 1930 (Showa 1932). It had the first elevator (the "flowing cage").

Suehiro-cho was the most prosperous area in Tainan at the time, and it was attempted to create a new Ginza that was comparable to Tokyo. So Suehirocho was also known as Tainan Ginza. 

The main arterial road "Saihiromachi Pass" is also called "Ginza Pass" and is now the Zhongzheng Road.

At that time, many people came to Tainan by train from other places. In order to consume at Hayashi  Department Store, this is regarded as the fashion and fashion center of South Taiwan. 

Even if you can't afford it, you can also ride it to the top floor free of charge. There is an Inari shrine on the top floor that symbolizes wealth and yield. Looking down from this tallest building in Tainan, you can see Tainan at a glance.

Today, from here onwards to the temple-style building bank (now Land Bank) built in 1928 against the street, you can still feel the prosperity of Ginza Tsuen. Hayashi  Department Store, which has been sleeping for more than 20 years in the history of Tainan, has finally re-appeared this year to restore the appearance of the old days. It is ready to enter the daily life of Tainan people again with its 80-year-old elegance.

To commemorate the re-operation of the first elevator in Taiwan at the time, Zheng Zhongxin's designer used the ingenuity again to design the second memorial T-shirt exclusively for Hayashi Department Store based on the only remaining mechanical pointer.

Although the original pointer has been retired, the spirit and aesthetics of the era are not only inferior but also more attractive.

In order to prevent the pointer from becoming a wall hanging, the four characters in the "Tainan name place" on the T-shirt show the pointer. 

The word "Tainan" above the word "Tainan" was extended with its instructions 3 and 2 as "壹玖32" (1932) and the word below "Name Place" with its instructions 1 and 4 as "贰零14" (2014), respectively representing the founding and Rebirth year.(The front of the T-shirt is also the old and new heritage of the creation and rejuvenation of the forest department store.) 

The background forest department store LOGO shows the words "rebirth" in each country's languages ​​so that visitors from all over the world can feel the joy and greatness of Reborn's rebirth. significance.

In the end, Hayashi  Department Store was reborn in the era of science and technology. 

The designers also hoped to link this moment with Hayashi Department Store. The geographical coordinates of the stamped Hayashi Department Store logo (22.59'30.4"N 120.12'08.2" were also indicated on the T-shirt. E). 

​It is hoped that Hayashi Department Store will become the new Tainan Place where tourists will come to the Tainan region when they come to visit Tainan.
